One of the world’s largest ProAV integrators is operating under a new name: Avi-Systems rebranded to Forté. Following numerous acquisitions and an expansion of its service offerings, the new Forte brand is intended to reflect the company’s evolution from an AV integrator to a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
The new company name, Forté, the new logo, and the new brand identity are intended to position the Minnesota-based ProAV provider as an industry leader in delivering and supporting communication and collaboration solutions for the modern workplace. Since its founding in 1974, Forté has grown into a provider with 1,300 employees at 41 locations in the US and subsidiaries worldwide.
“We are much more than an AV integrator, and now is the perfect time to create a new brand identity that will guide our company into the future,” said Jeff Stoebner, Chairman and CEO of Forté. “We have made strategic investments to transform the company and serve our customers. The decision to rename is based on our deep expertise in developing solutions for people that improve every touchpoint. We are focused on being a true strategic partner to our customers and delivering innovations that support their needs.”
Adapting to market needs, Forté now offers conference room solutions as a service. The As-a-Service offering is marketed as Forté Velocity – bundling certified conference room solutions including system integration, logistics and operations in one single managed service offering. Ready for deployment in just ten days.
Under the Magenium sub-brand, Forté markets its broad range of Microsoft solutions and is one of the leading Microsoft Teams partners worldwide.

Forte: On the Way to the Billionaire Club
With USD 576 million in revenue, Forte (formerly AVI-Systems) is one of the top three systems integrators in North America, alongside Diversified and AVI-SPL. Including the revenues of the Forte-dominated GPA Alliance, the Forte-GPA platform generates approximately USD 1.6 billion in annual global revenue.
Founded in the USA in 1974 as OMF Audiovisuals, the ProAV integrator operated under the name AVI-Systems since 1990. From now on AVI-Systems will become Forte, most likely to better differentiate itself from its largest competitor, AVI-SPL.
Forte has played a leading global role in the ProAV market since joining the GPA Alliance in 2020. Forte is the alliance’s exclusive US partner and also its largest shareholder. GPA generally allows only one member per country, which performs installations and services for all GPA members in its own market.
