The world’s third-largest ProAV systems integrator, Forté, until recently known as AVI Systems, expands into Europe. In addition to Dublin-based System Video, Forté is also acquiring the German conference room specialist GMS, based in Schwalbach near Frankfurt am Main.
With the acquisition of GMS and System Video, Forté is acquiring two GPA members. Forté joined the ProAV alliance GPA in 2020 whilesystematically acquiring partners in the US. The German and Irish markets are particularly important for US service providers, as hundreds of subsidiaries of US corporations – and current Forté customers – operate in both countries.
GMS, headquartered in Schwalbach, specializes in the integration of professional media technology, managed services, and smart building solutions and serves some of the world’s largest companies nationwide. With a plan-build-operate approach, GMS supports the entire lifecycle of media technology, video conferencing systems, and smart building solutions. System Video is similarly positioned as a leading ProAV and UC provider for multinational companies in Ireland.
Both GMS and System Video will continue to be managed by the long-standing and established local management teams under the new AVI Systems brand Forté.
