Los Angeles | Since 2013, Terminal B at LAX has been captivating visitors with seven LED installations, where art, advertising, and travel information come together to create a unique digital experience.
With the opening of Terminal B in 2013, LAX has created an LED wonderland for international travelers. Behind the security zone, there are seven LED installations seeing them off at their gates with a mix of digital art, DooH advertising, and travel information.
Signage concepts like this are becoming more and more popular in newer or renovated terminals. At Tom Bradley Terminal, the LEDs, which are over eleven years old, have shown these can be a long-term investment. Thanks to fresh content from Moment Factory, a creative company that produces exclusively for seven airports worldwide, and the latest advertising campaigns from designers like Chanel, Dior, and Hermés, the installations continue to deliver the desired wow effect.
The centerpiece of the seven digital monuments is a 22-metre-high LED tower in the main hall of the terminal, which displays the 24 global time zones alongside campaigns. Two other screens consist of individual hanging LEDs that are synchronized with each other. We have captured all seven with current campaigns and artwork:
