Infocomm Edge: Avixa Launches Dubai Show in 2026
During ISE 2026, Avixa announced firm plans to launch a new Infocomm event in the EMEA region. Branded Infocomm Edge, the two-day event will take place on October 27–28, 2026, at Dubai’s Festival Arena. It is positioned as an experiential ProAV showcase aimed at senior leaders and decision-makers across multiple industry verticals.
Unlike other Infocomm editions around the globe, Avixa plans Infocomm Edge not as a traditional trade show, prioritizing hands-on experiences and immersive activations over standard exhibition booths. The 7,200-square-meter venue will be organized around a central stage rather than a conventional trade show grid, with the aim of presenting AV solutions in a more integrated and narrative-driven format.
According to Avixa CEO David Labuskes, the event is designed to highlight the innovation potential in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. “The GCC has both the vision and resources to turn innovative ideas into reality, supported by a skilled pro AV community,” Labuskes said.
As event director for the show, Avixa brought on Cara Turner from B2B exhibition consultancy Integre. “It’s challenging for high-level decision-makers to visualize solutions as they walk around a conventional trade show floor stand by stand,” said Turner. “That’s why, for Infocomm Edge, we are taking a unique approach by co-creating an event with the design and deployment community for the first time.”
Activations will be created and operated by local integrators, with supporting pods for networking and deeper engagement. The presentations will focus on narrative-led journeys rather than sales pitches, aiming to demonstrate capability, integration, and delivery standards in real-world scenarios.
