M&A: IM Vision Acquires Visual Art LED Business

The Swedish LED specialist IM Vision is acquiring the Scandinavian LED business of Vertiseit Group’s subsidiary Visual Art. By divesting part of its hardware business, Vertiseit is refocusing on software and services following the Visual Art takeover. Meanwhile, IM Vision is expanding its LED business in event rentals and retail installations.

Stockholm-based digital signage integrator Visual Art was acquired by the Swedish Vertiseit Group (Dise, Grassfish) in October 2024. As part of Vertiseit’s strategy to focus on retail experience CMS platforms and services, its long-time partner IM Vision is taking over Visual Art’s LED business.

The transaction includes Visual Art’s LED business in retail and DooH, which generates approximately SEK 30 million annually (EUR 2.7 million). Customers such as Ocean Outdoor, ICA, and Åhléns will now receive LED solutions from IM Vision. Previously, Visual Art sourced its LED solutions directly from China.

“Win-Win” – Swedish solution

According to Johan Lind, CEO of Vertiseit (invidis interview), it is important for Vertiseit to have local partners who take full responsibility – from conception and installation to management and after-sales services. The combined Vertiseit Group generated sales of 62.5 million euros in 2024, half of which came from integration and service sales. Following the sale of the LED business, the integration segment’s share of total sales will decrease to approximately 44%.

IM Vision Group was founded ten years ago and has since grown into a leading Scandinavian LED provider for events and fixed installations under the chairman of the board and digital signage expert Leif Liljebrunn (formerly Zetadisplay). IM Vision is part of the Pamica Group, a growing industrial and service group consisting of 18 Swedish corporate groups with around 2,000 employees and offices worldwide.
