Korbyt is facing a leadership change. After six years at the helm, CEO Ankur Ahlowalia is stepping down with immediate effect from the enterprise-focused digital signage provider. Investor Clearhaven Partners, which owns Korbyt, has so far not named a successor.

Korbyt: CEO Ankur Ahlowalia Steps Down
The leadership transition comes at a sensitive time for the digital signage software market, which is increasingly shaped by platform strategies, AI integration, and intensifying competition in the enterprise segment.
During Ahlowalia’s tenure, Korbyt underwent a significant transformation. Originally positioned as an integrator (RMG Networks) and CMS provider (Korbyt), the company evolved into a channel-focused enterprise-oriented digital signage platform. Under his leadership, Korbyt sharpened its focus on large global customers, complex deployments, and deep software integrations – moving away from project-based business toward scalable platform recurring revenues. In 2024 Korbyt acquired UK-based NFS Technology to strengthen its European footprint and complement the offering beyond digital signage.
Strategically, Korbyt also positioned itself early in the AI-enabled signage space. Alongside competitors such as Poppulo and Appspace, Korbyt is regarded as one of the leading providers exploring the use of AI for content creation, analytics, and automation within corporate communications and digital workplace environments.
