With these two business forums, ISE 2025 will offer a program that supports investments in the AV sector as well as cross-continental collaboration. Here are the highlights of this year’s Investor Forum and European Latin American AV Forum.
ISE has put in a lot of effort in recent years to both bring in more political power and more people from outside Europe. Since relocating to Barcelona, the trade show has seen an uptick in interest from Latin America, and was able to secure broad support from tha Catalan government and local business associations. To support this collaboration, ISE will be holding two business forums this year: The European Latin American AV Forum (ELAF), which was initiated last year, and the investor forum, which will be giving its debut in 2025.
Investor forum to catalize growth in the AV industry
The investor forum – held on Tuesday, February 4 – will complement ISE’s start-up and investor program, which includes will include a pitching stage following the forum. The investor forum is both targeted towards investors and start-ups and includes sessions like “Growth Potential & Investment Hotspots” in the AV industry. This one will include invidis’ Florian Rotberg, Avixa’s Sean Vargo, and Hasan R. Sayed Hasan from consultancy Master Media who brings in expertise in the broadcast sector.

Another interesting sounding panel is one called “Key Considerations for Successful AV Investments,” which includes high-level investment banking representatives like Harry Kalmanowicz, Managing Director of Lincoln International. Another panel talk, called “From Inception to Acquisition – Lessons from the Frontlines,” promises hands-on advice for AV start-ups.
The investor forum is jointly organized with Tech Barcelona, a non-profit that supports Barcelona’s tech scene. The full program can be found on the ISE website. Following the forum, at 3pm, the Startup Pitching begins on ISE’s pitching stage, which can be found in the Congress Square located between halls 6 and 7.
ELAF returns: exploring Latin America’s booming AV market
The European Latin American AV Forum (ELAF), taking place on Wednesday, February 5, is held for the second time and invites anyone wanting to explore business opportunities in Latin America, a region that’s considered one of the current fastest growing AV markets. Participants will be able to get advice from companies already established in the region, including digital signage software providers Nsign.tv and Deneva who will be speaking in the Best Practices Panel with Peruvian congressman Carlos Anderson and invidis’ Florian Rotberg.

In another panel, they’ll be learning about initiatives from Latin American countries that promote cross-country collaboration in the AV sector. The speakers include represantatives from associations like the Eurochile Business Foundation, the Catalan AV Cluster, and Acció Barcelona.
Avixa’s Sean Wargo, who oversees all of Avixa’s market research programs, will be giving an overview of the AV markets in Europe and Latin America. The introductory panel includes high-level Catalan politicians, like Barcelona’s mayor Jaume Collboni. The full program is on the ISE website and an article about last year’s ELAF can be found here:
