After 18 years of formative work, Intuiface CEO Vincent Encontre is leaving the stage and retiring. He hands over to Mathieu Yerle, who joins from software provider Chyron.
Intuiface CEO Vincent Encontre is retiring after 18 years with the company. With Encontre, Intuiface, known as a no-code pioneer in the digital signage software sector, is losing an experienced visionary who played a key role in shaping the company. A his successor, Intuiface chose someone from outside the signage industry but from a related field: Mathieu Yerle comes from Chyron, which specializes in graphic and news ticker feeds for live television.
“I look forward to building upon the strong foundation Jacques and Vincent have laid and to working closely with you as we shape the future of interactive digital experiences together”, says Mathieu Yerle. “I believe I bring valuable insights and experience that complement Intuiface’s mission. This background will help us continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in connecting audiences to physical spaces through our no-code platform.”
From French start-up to global SaaS provider
Vincent Encontre joined the company, then known as Intuilab, in 2006 and, together with Jacques Soumeillan, led it to become an international SaaS provider. The two have established Intuiface as a leading provider of interactive digital signage solutions. At invidis’ DSS conferences over the years, Encontre has repeatedly shared his visions on no-code technologies and headless CMS and has had a decisive influence on the industry.
Mathieu Yerle takes over for ISE 2025
Although Vincent Encontre is officially retiring, he does not want to say goodbye to the industry for good just yet. After passing leadership to Mathieu Yerle, he plans to stay involved as a member of the Intuiface board and take on advisory roles. Mathieu Yerle has already assumed leadership for ISE 2025 and also plans to meet the digital signage community on February 5 at the Digital Signage Summit.
