CES – Day 2 – Samsung has software

Did you know Samsung has a digital signage software solution?

Me neither. But they do … called MagicNet.

Expect a lot more of this, as the margins are thin on panels and much nicer if manufacturers can bundle software.

This was the first time (and granted I don’t go to a lot of shows) I had seen display guys putting more than a token emphasis on advertising and public information displays.
