Business: Bluefin Joins Ellipsys as Digital Signage Vendor Partner
Bluefin International has joined Ellipsys Commercial Technology Group as a vendor partner, connecting the display manufacturer more directly with the organization’s commercial systems integrators.
Bluefin manufactures commercial-grade displays ranging from standard models to fully customized products. Its portfolio includes touchscreens, ultrawide displays, outdoor screens and other specialized form factors, along with all-in-one models featuring integrated Brightsign, Android, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS computing platforms.
The company said the partnership will allow it to provide Ellipsys members with consultative support covering display selection, embedded computing, customization and larger-scale digital signage deployments.
“Winning a digital signage project is about more than the display on the wall,” said Bluefin CEO Frank Pisano. “It means designing a solution the integrator can install cleanly, deliver on time and confidently stand behind.”
Pisano added that integrating computing capabilities directly into its displays can reduce the number of external components and cables required for an installation.
Ellipsys Commercial Technology Group supports commercial systems integrators through education, technology partnerships, business resources and industry collaboration.
Chris Whitley, executive director of Ellipsys, said Bluefin’s technical expertise, range of form factors and integrator-focused support would be valuable to the group’s members.
