Tel Aviv | Israel is known for very high import duties on cars and luxury items. That’s why small cars dominate the streets – especially electric cars from China. Dozens of those brands have found their way into the country. One of them is Zeekr which just opened a brand-new showroom in Tel Aviv’s Big Fashion Mall.
The Zeekr showroom in the shopping center is easy to spot from the outside, thanks to LED pillar wraps on glass-walled facades. The content on the LED pillars is an eye-catcher. The local digital agency selected videos that are reflected like silhouettes on the edges of the LED pillars – nice visual effects that aer able to grab attention even in a heavy digitized retail space as the brand new Big Fashion Mall.

The showroom itself is a typical shopping mall automotive car showroom: a relatively dark space with only a sole glass facade at the entrance. The digital storytelling on the immersive digital signage installation is to bring dynamic elements into the otherwise static car exhibition. The screens are controlled by Novisign CMS, which is the dominant digital signage software in many projects in Israel, Novisign’s home market.
