QSR: Sodaclick Launches AI Voice Ordering in Arabic

Sodaclick is introducing voice ordering to the Gulf region. Its AI can understand drive-thru orders in 96 languages and all Arabic dialects. The local launch will follow in partnership with Fama Technologies.

London-based Sodaclick aims to enter the Gulf region’s QSR market with AI voice ordering. Its conversational AI already recognizes 96 languages and has been trained to understand regional Arabic dialects and Urdu. Sodaclick says it can respond in both Arabic and English, switching fluently between them. Partnering with regional distributor Fama Technologies, the company plans to bring its solutions to the GCC’s QSR and retail industry.

Sodaclick originally built its business on SaaS-based HTML5 digital signage content creation tools and a CMS. In 2022, it introduced AI Voice Ordering, a cloud-based platform now being tested in pilot projects, including with KFC in Dubai. The company collaborates with Google ChromeOS and regularly presents at events like ISE as ChromeOS partner. It also features a QSR simulation in the ChromeOS Experience Center.

Together with Fama Technologies, the company plans to launch the solution in the Gulf States within the next few months.
