ISE 2025: TCL Focuses on Commercial Displays

Barcelona | TCL is one of the largest display manufacturers worldwide, eating away market share from Samsung, LG, and others. Now, the vertically integrated Chinese manufacturer is focusing on digital signage, showcasing its diverse range of commercial displays and solutions at ISE 2025.

TCL is fairly unknown in the ProAV and digital signage market. Founded 1981, the state-owned consumer electronics manufacturer has become the Samsung of China. In 2020, TCL acquired Samsung Display’s LCD factories in China, followed by LG Display’s sole Chinese factory in 2024. Today, TCL is the second largest global TV manufacturer with a market share of 12,5%, according to Omdia. TCL is experiencing strong growth, particularly with MiniLED displays, a technology Samsung markets as Neo QLED and LG as QNED.

Now, TCL has set its target on the digital signage and ProAV market under both its main brand and the Moka brand, known for its BrightSign-SoC displays. At ISE 2025, TCL unveiled the TM/TB series of ultra-slim digital signage screens, measuring less than 3 cm thick. These commercial-grade displays, available in sizes from 43″ to 85″, offer improved color accuracy (ΔE<1.2) and a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut, which is supposed to outperform competitors.

Like most display vendors, TCL offers its own CMS platform, Eshow, with cloud-based remote device management capabilities. Third-party CMS are supposed to be easily integrated via standard APIs.

TCL also presented the flagship display TV115E60, the world’s largest QD-Mini LED Flat Panel Display featuring QD-Mini LED technology with over 20,000 dimming zones. According to TCL, a higher number of MiniLED backlight dimming zones improves energy savings by up to 50%.
