Control Room: Vuwall Acquired by Naxicap

Command and control solution provider Vuwall now has a new owner, Naxicap, along with two sister companies to create synergy effects.

Vuwall, a global leader in command and control solutions, has announced its acquisition by private equity firm Naxicap. This makes Vuwall the third company in the ProAV sector to be acquired by Naxicap, which took over Guntermann & Drunck in 2020 and Tritec Electronic in 2022. The synergy effects of having these three brands under one roof are aimed to advance software and hardware for control rooms. By integrating video wall and KVM solutions, Naxicap says customers can expect shorter response times, optimized workflows, and improved system reliability.

New CEO after acquisition

“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our mission to bring together best-of-breed solutions in the control room industry,” says Joseph Pacher-Theinburg at Naxicap. “By leveraging the strengths of Vuwall’s software development team and G&D and Tritec’s hardware expertise, we are unlocking new possibilities for innovation and market growth.”

The new constellation also entails personnel changes: Thorsten Lipp, CEO of Guntermann & Drunck, will now also act as CEO of Vuwall. Paul Vander Plaetse, founder of Vuwall, will take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Vuwall, G&D and Tritec. Markus Müller-Heidelberg will remain Managing Director of Tritec Electronic.

Vuwall and Guntermann & Drunck will showcase their new collaboration at ISE 2025 in Barcelona. Vuwall will be at booth 5C700, while Guntermann & Drunck will exhibit at booth 5J350.
