Future Stores: Intel’s First Successor

The next brand is taking a shot at London’s newest retail attraction: LØCI, just four years young, is showing its sneakers at Future Stores on Oxford Street.

Future Stores, the LED-filled pop-up store on Oxford Street, has a new tenant: Scandinavian sneaker brand LØCI. The brand produces vegan sneakers and falls into the “up-and-coming” category – not yet a household name, but already spotted on the feet of celebrities such as Mila Kunis in LA.

This has really boosted the self-confidence of the brand, founded in 2020. It has now rented the “most modern store in the world”, which only opened with this promise at the beginning of November, which opened with this promise in early November. The exterior LED above the entrance now no longer reads “The Intel AI Experience”, but “Keep It Moving”.

The 360-degree LEDs in Future Stores showcase LØCI’s sneaker models from every angle, while real models are displayed on LED-wrapped counters. But these are only there for viewing and touching, not for trying on. Instead, LØCI uses the interactive digital signage kiosks that are part of the Future Stores tech equipment. Customers can virtually try on the shoes using Snapchat’s “Virtual Try-on.”

LØCI will stay at Future Stores throughout December and try to create as much buzz as possible in London’s busiest shopping street. The concept of Future Stores is to offer brands a completely customizable space with all the possibilities of technology for launch events or image boosts. Eventually, Future Stores is intended to move into other major cities.
