Trison France: President Michel Baronnier to Retire

After leading Trison France – formerly TMM – for 32 years, Michel Baronnier is retiring. He was a pioneer in digital signage since the 1990s and remained a key figure in the industry throughout the years.

Michel Baronnier, President of Trison France, is retiring after nearly 32 years at the forefront of the European digital signage industry. A veteran in the field, he founded TMM Communication in 1992, transforming it into a top competitor in France and eventually facilitating its acquisition by the Spanish Trison Group in 2018. This merger propelled Trison to become the leading pure-play digital signage integrator in Europe.

Considered a pioneer in the French digital signage market, Michel Baronnier was bid farewell by the Trison France team at a ceremony in late March. On Linkedin, the group expressed gratitude to the TMM founder: “Leaders of your caliber leave an indelible impression on the memories of the employees, associates, partners, customers and service providers they work with”, the post said.

invidis also extends heartfelt gratitude to Baronnier for his contributions, which have significantly influenced the digital signage industry in Europe. At numerous of our DSS conferences throughout the years, where Baronnier appeared as a speaker, he showcased his thought leadership. Both the invidis editorial and the consulting team wish him all him a wonderful start to this new chapter in his life.
