Vanguard LED Displays wants to gain a foothold in Europe with a newly opened branch in Barcelona. European Managing Director Christopher Backhaus wants to consolidate the US manufacturer’s presence with well-known ProAV experts.
US based LED manufacturer Vanguard LED Displays strengthens its presence in Europe and opened a European subsidiary in February 2024. Christopher Backhaus, Managing Director of Vanguard LED Displays Europa, and his team operate from their office in Barcelona, which will include an showroom of Vanguard products.
To ensure growth, Vanguard hired two digital signage veterans for the European business: Effective April 1st, Christian Krela and Patrick Boost have joined Vanguard. Christian Krela, an AV professional for more than 20 years, has been appointed as Sales Director of Vanguard LED Displays Europa and is based in Germany. He comes from PPDS, where his last position was Sales Director DACH.
Patrick Boost, originally from Belgium, has been residing in Spain for over 21 years and he will be responsible for business development in Iberia, France, Benelux and the MEA region.
