The home area for the Los Angeles Kings (hockey) and Clippers (hoop) now has a new fan zone set-up aimed at driving fan engagement.
The LA Interactive zone launched Saturday night at the Staples Center on the venue’s main concourse. The set-up includes a 6-by-13 foot LED video wall, an 8-by-5 foot Ultra HD video wall, three 65-inch displays, and three interactive stations with large flat panels. The screen programming includes exclusive interactive content, social media visualizations, live game action, player stats, game scores, and out of town action.
The project was driven heavily by Toshiba America Business Solutions, and uses its Experience Manager software (a private-label version of ComQi) on the video display’s and Toshiba’s own software for the interactive pieces.
