The first 75-inch e-paper displays, launched at ISE 2025, did not yet offer a full-color range. Now, panel manufacturer E Ink has introduced an alternative by unveiling the first 75-inch Spectra 6 display.
E Ink, the world’s dominant e-paper panel manufacturer, has announced another innovation: Last week it was the new outdoor technology Marquee, now E Ink presents the first 75-inch e-paper display of its flagship technology Spectra 6.
At ISE 2025, 75-inch e-paper displays could already be seen on many stands – albeit still with Kaleido technology, which will most likely be replaced by Marquee.
“Our new 75” Spectra 6 display marks a significant milestone in E Ink’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, sustainable digital signage,” said Johnson Lee, CEO of E Ink. “By combining a highly saturated, full-color ePaper experience with extreme energy efficiency, we’re giving advertisers, brands and retailers an innovative way to engage customers while reducing their environmental impact. We’re excited to see how partners will harness this technology to transform indoor digital advertising applications.”
Available in Q4/2025
E Ink sees advertising displays, wayfinding screens, and displays at trade shows or in retail as the main areas of application. Spectra 6 is said to deliver particularly rich colors and has an operating temperature range of 0 to +50 degrees Celsius.
The 75-inch Spectra 6 modules can be equipped with E Ink Ripple, a waveform and algorithm architecture that enables smoother image transitions and expands the color options.
Like the Marquee display, the 75-inch version of Spectra 6 will also be presented at Touch Taiwan 2025, which starts on April 16. The first deliveries are scheduled to start in Q4 of this year – to partners “who have presented at Touch Taiwan 2025 in cooperation with E Ink”.
