Barcelona | Together with Diversified and AVI Systems, AVI-SPL is one of the three largest ProAV and digital signage integrators worldwide. At ISE 2025, the billion-dollar revenue company presented a refreshed brand identity launched with the new image campaign “Confidence and Curiosity”. At the same time, AVI-SPL announced the completion of the takeover of ICAP and new C-suite appointments.
AVI-SPL is showing how professionally large businesses present themselves to potential clients with costly brand campaigns. For the medium-sized ProAV and digital signage industry, the brand presence of the industry heavyweights is a sign that competition for large projects is becoming fiercer. Both AVI-SPL and Diversified are expanding their presence in Europe, as is the European IT-AV integrator Econocom, now active in the ProAV segment under the brand Gather with Econocom.
Large marketing budgets do not guarantee success in the system integration business, but competition for visibility among end customers is becoming more professional.
New AVI-SPL brand campaigns
AVI-SPL launched its new brand campaign, “Confidence and Curiosity,” at ISE 2025, along with a refreshed corporate design. This highlights the growing importance of ISE as a global industry event, with a US-based market player choosing to relaunch at the Barcelona venue for a worldwide audience.
According to AVI-SPL, the brand campaign focuses on helping customers gain confidence in their technology strategies for UCC and digital signage experiences while sparking curiosity to explore new possibilities.
In 2025, AVI-SPL will roll out the new campaign with updated messaging and a refreshed visual identity across all channels. The new brand design includes a vibrant color palette and dynamic graphics that represent movement, adaptability, and progress.
Acquisition of LATAM-Europe specialist ICAP completed
The acquisition of the Argentinian ProAV integrator ICAP, announced in 2024, was successfully completed at the turn of the year. The merger of AVI-SPL and ICAP creates a market-leading provider of ProAV, UCC, Workplace Management, and Digital Experience technology, with the ability to serve customers worldwide. By acquiring ICAP, AVI-SPL has expanded its reach in Spanish-speaking markets in LATAM and the Iberian Peninsula.
With ICAP, AVI-SPL now has additional locations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Spain. The full integration of ICAP teams into AVI-SPL’s organization and processes is now underway.
New board members
AVI-SPL is further expanding its management team with two promotions. Dale Bottcher, who has been with AVI-SPL for 21 years, has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Tim Riek, with over 20 years at AVI-SPL, has also been promoted and will now focus on developing global partnerships and strategic initiatives as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
