Zetadisplay CEO: Strategy Clear, Focus Locked

Zetadisplay has entered 2026 with renewed clarity and a sharpened strategic focus. Since taking over as CEO in September, Daniel Nergård has positioned the Swedish-headquartered integrator as a fully fledged end-to-end digital signage solutions provider, doubling down on enterprise customers who expect their partners to assume full project ownership.

Daniel Nergård, who joined Zetadisplay in September, is the third CEO in less than three years. “2025 has been a year of change for the company with change in leadership.” His predecessor, Anders Olin, reshaped the multinational group – centralizing operations, relocating the HQ to downtown Malmö, aligning processes across subsidiaries, and introducing a global service catalogue.

The effect of the past years’ work is helping Zetadisplay to operate in a more harmonized way. This, combined with a strong commercial focus toward the end of 2025, is reflected in Zetadisplay’s recently published 2025 figures: revenue grew by 8.5 percent to €61.6 million, outperforming the market.

For Nergård, the direction is now unmistakable: “I took over an organization with a good structure and a solid go-to-market strategy, now we will increase our speed and energy further. Our pipeline for 2026 looks very promising.” Zetadisplay, with more than 240 employees across Europe, is laser-focused on its positioning as a full-service integrator with an in-house CMS platform called Engage Suite. “We take ownership of all aspects – and a market-leading software stack is necessary for that, particularly as we scale advanced use cases such as in-store retail media,” he emphasizes.

Enterprise focus, global ambition

Zetadisplay will continue to prioritize large, international enterprise clients, where expectations for end-to-end responsibility are clearest. The company’s track record supports this approach: Zetadisplays has rolled out global digital signage concepts for long-time enterprise customers like the famous Swedish furniture retailer.

Nordics: clarity as a competitive edge

In its Nordic home markets, Zetadisplay sees strategic advantages thanks to the clarity of its business model – not selling hardware-only or standalone software but delivering holistic solutions. Nergård highlights managed services as the company’s “sweet spot”: operating, monitoring, and servicing networks on behalf of clients. Engage Suite, a performative CMS with remote device management capabilities, is therefore a necessity.

The CMS market remains highly fragmented, with thousands of platforms competing for attention. Zetadisplay differentiates itself through a user-friendly interface, an open tech stack, and workflows designed around enterprise customer needs. “The CMS workflow is super critical for our customers,” says Nergård.

Scaling through partners and pre-installation

Outside its core regions, Zetadisplay is adjusting its go-to-market strategy. In regions such as South Africa and Eastern Europe, the company relies on channel partners who resell Zetadisplay’s software Engage Suite. Partnerships with hardware manufacturers are expanding as well: Zetadisplay has lately deepened its relationship with LG by shipping hardware pre-installed with Zetadisplay’s Engage Suite Software. Today, 125,000 devices already run on the Malmö-developed platform – a number set to grow significantly through OEM integration.

M&A: build, buy, expand

While organic growth remains the priority, Zetadisplay continues to scan the market for acquisition opportunities. Germany is a very interesting strategic target. After replacing local management and rebuilding a scalable organisation in late 2025, Nergård sees room for inorganic expansion to accelerate market penetration.

The broader ambition remains unchanged: expanding Zetadisplay’s European footprint by combining local expertise with a scalable, unified platform. “Europe is on our agenda,” Nergård confirms.
