Kinly’s net-zero climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, making the company the first global AV systems integrator to achieve SBTi verification.

Sustainability: Kinly First AV Integrator with SBTi-Validated Net-Zero Targets
Global AV systems integrator Kinly has become the first company in its sector to have its net-zero emissions targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), marking a sustainability milestone for the professional AV industry.
The SBTi verification confirms that Kinly’s emissions-reduction plans align with the latest climate science and follow internationally recognized methodologies for measuring environmental impact. The initiative assesses whether corporate climate targets are consistent with limiting global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.
As part of the validated plan, Kinly has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050. The company also plans to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 54.6% by 2033 from a 2023 baseline, while lowering Scope 3 emissions by 61.1% per euro of value added over the same period.
The long-term strategy calls for a 90% reduction in combined Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050.
Kinly CEO Ken Scaturro said the validation confirms that the company’s sustainability commitments are built on measurable, science-based targets.
The company also plans to apply the same methodology across Yorktel’s operations as the businesses continue integrating under the Kinly brand following their recent merger.
Kinly said the milestone establishes a benchmark for sustainability within the AV integration sector and is intended to encourage broader industry collaboration on climate goals.
