London: Jean-Francois Decaux to Headline WOO 2026 Annual Congress

A key figure in global outdoor advertising will headline WOO’s 2026 congress in London, as the industry prepares for what's expected to be its largest gathering yet.

Jean-François Decaux, Co-CEO and Chairman of JC Decaux, is set to deliver the keynote at the 2026 Annual Congress of the World Out of Home Organization (WOO). The event will take place from June 3–5 at the London Hilton on Park Lane and is expected to attract global leaders from the OoH industry.

As one of the most-known figures in the out-of-home, Jean-François Decaux represents the second generation of the company founded by his father, Jean-Claude Decaux. JC Decaux is currently the world’s largest OoH media owner, reporting annual revenues of nearly €4 billion and operating across Europe, Asia, the United States, and other global markets.

According to WOO President Tom Goddard, Decaux has played a significant role in shaping the modern OoH industry. Goddard highlighted his long-standing contribution to the development of the medium, including investments in street furniture and other urban infrastructure.

The 2026 edition of the congress marks a return to the UK for the first time since 1990. Organizers expect the London gathering to be one of the largest in the event’s history, with a focus on industry trends and the future development of OoH media.
