ISE 2026: Uniguest Digital Signage Platform for Hospitals

Barcelona | At ISE 2026, Uniguest demonstrated what highly specialized digital signage solutions for vertical markets can look like. The company presented its Healthcare Hub, a software platform designed to manage interactive and digital signage experiences inside hospital patient rooms.

Uniguest has long been known for its vertical‑specific approach, particularly in hospitality, broadcast and sports. Through several acquisitions in recent years, the US-headquartered digital signage specialist has expanded into additional verticals. The Healthcare Hub is rooted in Uniguest’s 2023 acquisition of P‑Care. Now adapted to European data protection standards, the solution is ready for rollout across continental Europe and the UK.

Interactive Workflows and Digital Signage on One Platform

The Healthcare Hub is a patient‑facing solution that combines interactive displays and digital signage screens inside hospital rooms. The system enables hospitals to automate and standardize a range of services directly at the bedside.

Interactive screens can be used for teleconsultations, connecting patients with doctors either inside the hospital or remotely. The dedicated digital signage display functions like an extended patient chart: it shows medication schedules, appointments, treatment steps and discharge‑related tasks. Physicians also see patient‑specific information – such as preferred forms of address or relevant clinical notes – allowing staff to retrieve essential data even when the patient is sleeping.

The platform can be expanded beyond patient rooms. For example, electronic door signs can display information related to dietary requirements or infection risk, ensuring staff access the correct information at the right time.

With the Healthcare Hub, Uniguest illustrates how digital signage can evolve from a communication tool into an integrated part of clinical workflows – reshaping patient interaction and supporting hospital staff with real‑time, room‑level information.
