Düsseldorf | After five days of exhibition, Euroshop closed its halls at Messe Düsseldorf, solidifying its central role in connecting the retail with the shopfitting and tech world. More than 81,000 attendees came to the show this year.

Düsseldorf 2026: Euroshop Draws 81,000 Visitors
Euroshop 2026 celebrated its 60th anniversary with a solid performance: more than 81,000 trade visitors came to Düsseldorf, roughly matching the attendance figures from three years ago.
However, Euroshop 2023 had been heavily affected by a major public transport strike. Considering the current tense global economic situation, this year’s results can still be seen as very encouraging.
Large international attendance
Euroshop once again highlighted the international nature of its visitors: attendees came from 141 countries, with two-thirds traveling from abroad and one in five from countries outside Europe. The 1,840 exhibitors represented a total of 61 nations.
Exhibitors reported a positive mood throughout the event, a sentiment confirmed by numerous conversations and statements collected by invidis. Booth designs were as spectacular as ever, with standout examples from companies like Itab and Umdasch. The event also demonstrated the growing importance of integrating digital signage from the very start into store concepts – including content creation.
More experience, fewer stores
Euroshop reflects the broader trends in retail: while the number of physical stores is stagnating or even declining, demand is rising for large, immersive experiences in premium locations. The fair once again demonstrated its magnetism, leaving both visitors and exhibitors inspired by Düsseldorf.
The next Euroshop will take place from February 18 to 22, 2029, in Düsseldorf. In the meantime, EuroCIS will return from February 16 to 18, 2027.
