ISE 2026: Avixa Launches Women in AV Collective

Avixa kicks off its first Women in AV Collective at ISE 2026, featuring a keynote, panel, and networking to spotlight leadership and career growth for women in AV.

At ISE 2026, Avixawill bring the AV community together through gatherings for its councils, broadcast enthusiasts, and Xchange Live sessions covering topics from immersive art to ESG.

On Thursday, February 5, Avixa will host its first Women in AV Collective under the theme “Leading Beyond Limits. Empowering Through Connection.” The program, presented by the Avixa Women’s Council, includes a keynote, panel discussion, and networking reception highlighting women’s leadership and career advancement in the AV industry.

“This event perfectly encapsulates the Avixa Women’s Council mission – to provide a global community for supporting and empowering women who work in pro AV and technology,” said Sarah Joyce, Chief Global Officer, Avixa. “I encourage everyone to attend and meet all the groups represented here. It is a fantastic opportunity to build community, make meaningful connections, and be inspired by the collective power and influence of women in the AV industry.”

The keynote will be delivered by award-winning writer and director Sam Grierson, whose work addresses neurodivergence, gender, and identity. Following the keynote, Sam Phenix, former Avixa Board Chair, will lead a panel of industry leaders. The session will conclude with a networking reception in partnership with COITT.

The Women in AV Collective is sponsored by Diversified and Shure. The event is free to attend and will take place on the upper floor of the Fira in CC 4.1, followed by a networking session in the adjacent garden area. To register, visit the Avixa website.
