Next week, the global digital signage community will gather at ISE in Barcelona. As every year, invidis will use the occasion to take the pulse of the market: With the latest DBCI survey, we want to understand how the industry is feeling as it enters 2026. The survey takes less than a minute, and we will present the results on Wednesday at DSS ISE as well as across all invidis channels.

DBCI: How Optimistic Is the Industry Going Into the New Year?
The current Global Business Optimism Index (GBOI) from Dun & Bradstreet offers a view of the broader economic climate at the start of the year. In early 2026, global business sentiment shows signs of cautious stabilization. The GBOI rose by 3.5 percent worldwide in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the previous quarter, ending a downward trend that lasted four consecutive quarters.
The differences between company sizes are striking. Small companies report a strong rebound in expectations, with an increase of 11.4 percent. Medium-sized companies show a more moderate improvement of 3.4 percent. Large enterprises, however, have seen sentiment decline by 3.2 percent, partly driven by weaker inventory turnover.
The recovery is supported primarily by an improved supply chain situation, greater predictability in international trade, and more stable financial conditions.
But what is the mood within the global digital signage industry after a modest performance in 2025? We want to hear your assessment.
We look forward to your feedback and will publish the anonymized results next week in Barcelona.
