Trison acquires Pioneer Group, significantly enhancing its UK footprint. Pioneer, with names like KFC on its client list, will be fully integrated into Trison UK.

UK: Trison Acquires Pioneer Group
Consolidation of the European digital signage landscape is in full swing: After Vertiseit acquired Muse Content from Germany and Zetadisplay took over the Swedish integrator Ubiq, Trison is now expanding its UK footprint with the acquisition of Pioneer Group.
With this move, the European digital signage giant strengthens its capabilities in Pioneer’s core verticals: hospitality, QSR, stadiums, corporate, and retail. Pioneer has been in business for more than 14 years, working with brands such as KFC, Joe & The Juice, and various professional sports clubs. Over time, the company has installed more than 60,000 screens, ranging from 7-inch displays to large-format LED walls.
Alberto Caceres Tejedor, Global CEO of Trison, comments: “This strategic acquisition underscores our unwavering commitment to global growth and to delivering customer experience solutions that profoundly and measurably influence our clients’ businesses. We aim to provide not only exceptional quality solutions but also unparalleled customer service. By joining forces with the talented team at Pioneer Group, we are poised to unlock even greater value for our customers and accelerate our journey towards sustained growth in the UK and beyond.”
Full integration into Trison UK
According to the company, Pioneer will be fully integrated into Trison UK. Mark Childerhouse, Pioneer Group’s Sales and Marketing Director, will take on the role of Commercial Director in the merged organization.

Peter Critchley, UK CEO of Trison, adds: “We have closely observed Pioneer Group’s growth over the past few years, and we are genuinely impressed by their solutions focus and strong client retention rates. As a company with ambitious goals for continued expansion, we believe that Pioneer Group is the perfect match for us.”
Chris Appleyard, joint owner of Pioneer Group together with Paul Childerhouse, said that both will be “actively involved in driving the integrated business forward,” although their exact roles remain unclear. The acquisition was completed on 1 December 2025.
