DooH: Adform Acquires DSP Splicky

Swiss-based Goldbach Group is selling its Berlin-based DSP platform Splicky to the Danish ad-tech company Adform. The sale of Splicky is part of Goldbach Group's focus on Switzerland and follows previous divestitures, such as Goldbach Austria and selected non-DooH sales house activities in Germany.

The German Goldbach subsidiary Splicky is a pioneer in programmatic advertising in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Its multichannel demand-side platform enables the programmatic buying of advertising space on DooH screens, online, mobile, and connected TV, as well as audio advertising formats on radio stations and smart speakers.

Adform is a leading European ad-tech provider, offering brands, agencies, and publishers a fully integrated platform for digital advertising. With Adform Flow, the company combines ad servers, demand-side platforms, and data management to efficiently deliver, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns across all digital channels. Splicky perfectly complements this offering.

Sven Ruppert, Managing Director of Splicky, said: “This transaction marks the end of a ten-year chapter in our company history. During this time, we succeeded in establishing ourselves in the competitive programmatic advertising market in the DACH region with Goldbach. We are excited to now begin a new chapter together with Adform. In this new constellation, we will continue to focus on innovation and local customer proximity. In addition to a complementary geographic profile, we share a common vision: We offer European advertisers a first-class alternative to large American tech companies.”

Christoph Marty, CEO of the Goldbach Group, said: “I am delighted for Sven and his team to have found a new home with Adform, where everything revolves around adtech and the ecosystem relevant to Splicky.”
