Berlin-based Pik AG is joining the French Spie Group through Spie ICS, marking another step in the consolidation of Germany’s AV market. The acquisition gives Pik AG access to new resources for growth while preserving its brand, team, and focus on media technology. With Spie’s backing, Pik aims to actively shape the future of AV solutions in Germany as part of a €9.9 billion European powerhouse.

Spie: Facility Manager Acquires Pik AG
The consolidation of Germany’s AV market continues as France-based Spie Group acquired Pik AG, a Berlin-based AV systems integrator through its subsidiary ICS. Spie, a leading European provider of technical services for buildings and infrastructure with annual revenues of EUR €9.9bn, takes a majority stake in Pik AG. The Berlin-based integrator generates approximately 40m EUR annual revenue primarily with enterprise communication in Northern und Eastern Germany.
The management team will retain their stakes, ensuring continuity in leadership and strategy. For Pik AG, this acquisition opens the door to new resources and growth opportunities. As part of Spie’s network of 55,000 employees, Pik will operate as an independent business unit under the Spie ICS umbrella. The company’s brand identity, team, and focus on media technology will remain unchanged, preserving its strong market reputation.
“We can look back on successful years with steady growth and numerous challenging projects. Now is the right time to embark on the next phase together with Spie,” said Niklas Niehuus, CEO of Pik AG.
Strengthening Market Position
Pik AG employs around 170 people and serves clients across private, public, and government sectors. The existing management team, including Chief Sales Officer Daniel Gallin, will remain fully engaged. Gallin emphasized the strategic fit:
“Our team is the foundation of our success. Spie’s confidence in our expertise demonstrates the close relationship and shared goal of further developing Pik AG. We intend to actively shape the market for AV solutions in Germany on this solid foundation.”
The transaction is subject to antitrust approval and is expected to close in December 2025. With this move, Spie strengthens its position in the German AV market, while Pik gains the backing of a major European player—an important step in a sector increasingly dominated by large, integrated service providers.
