JC Decaux has renewed its exclusive street furniture contract with STIB, the Brussels transport company, to manage advertising spaces across the city, including the rollout of a new DooH network in the metro.

Brussels: JC Decaux to Install 200 New DooH Screens
JC Decaux has once again secured the exclusive street furniture contract in Brussels. Following a competitive tender process, the company was awarded an 8+2+2-year contract with STIB, the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company, to manage advertising spaces across the metro, trams, and buses.
The Belgian capital, home to 1.3 million residents and several European Union institutions – including the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Council of the European Union – welcomes nearly 400,000 commuters daily. The STIB network serves almost 1.1 million people every day, totaling more than 400 million trips annually.
The new contract, effective February 26, 2026, covers the operation and maintenance of advertising spaces across STIB’s 1,300 trams and buses. It also includes 900 analog advertising units in 69 metro stations and 1,500 out-of-home frames in station stairwells.
Under the agreement, STIB will also award JC Decaux additional outdoor advertising projects. This involves the installation of up to 200 new 75-inch digital screens across 26 metro stations, replacing existing furniture. High-traffic stations such as Arts-Loi, Louise, and Schuman will feature four LED screens, five digital cubes, and 80 interactive touchscreens.
The digital out-of-home screens will also be accessible for programmatic booking through JC Decaux’s Adtech ecosystem, which includes the SSP Viooh and DSP Displayce platforms.
