Under the theme “Reimagining education and training in the age of artificial intelligence,” the upcoming Edtech Congress Barcelona will bring together the global education and training community to explore how technology - and especially AI - is reshaping learning environments. This year’s edition introduces a major new partnership: Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) joins as a strategic partner Fira Barcelona and governmental agencies.
Barcelona: Edtech Congress Partners with ISE
Edtech Congress will take place February 4–5 at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, running in parallel with ISE 2026 (February 3–6) at Fira Gran Via. This partnership is supposed to create a unique synergy between educational innovation and ProAV and digital signage. The 2,500 Edtech attendees will gain free access to ISE to learn more about tech solutions for classrooms, universities, and corporate learning environments.
Focus on AI and Ethical Impact
The congress will feature 81 national and international speakers and more than 60 technology companies, addressing topics such as AI-driven teaching models and educational management, Digital well-being and best practices, Impact of AI on universities and research, and public policy design for tech-enabled education
Dedicated spaces like the Demo & Immersive Lab will allow participants to experience smart classrooms, AI-powered simulations, and evaluation systems firsthand. Additional highlights include the Discovery Stage, Investor Forum, and an interdisciplinary hackathon, fostering collaboration between startups, educators, and tech providers.
A Growing Ecosystem
ISE is not (yet) replacing BETT (UK), Didacta (DE) or many or the other national education tech shows. Education is dominated by local content providers – mostly education publishers – shows will continue to focus on national education trends. EdTech Congress in Barcelona is a show primarily focused on the Spanish-language education market. While education remains a national topic, tech solutions are global. That is were ISE is the unique global platform.
