With Skycom India leading the digital signage rollout, Delhi now joins global cities like London and Dubai in delivering world-class visual retail environments.

Delhi: New Retail Landmark Goes All-In on DooH
The new Unity One Elegante Shopping Center will open in the north of Delhi in a few weeks time. invidis has been supporting the project for a year, and it was exciting to be back on site for a test run of India’s most modern DooH installation – even with outside temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius and no working air conditioning.

The penetration of shopping centers in India is still relatively low but is growing rapidly. Currently, only 12% of retailers in India are located in shopping centers, but this number is expected to rise significantly. Market analysts predict a penetration rate of 17-19% by 2035, driven by a booming economy, increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and a shift in consumer preferences towards brick-and-mortar retail experiences and branded products.
The Unity One Elegante Shopping Center exemplifies the new generation of shopping centers in India. With around 150 shops, including some European brands, and a large food court, the center offers a comprehensive retail experience for Delhi residents.

Skycom India Lights Up Elegante with Million-Dollar DooH Experience
Skycom India, the leading DooH media owner of shopping malls, has equipped the shopping center with an array of innovative digital signage solutions. These include pillar wraps, an elaborate DooH ceiling installation, and a massive double-sided suspended LED board. The modern LED installations blend seamlessly into the contemporary architecture, creating a distinct presence.
One of the highlights is the ceiling-suspended double-sided DooH screen from Unilumin. Despite its 1.6-ton weight and 100 m² LED surface (4k x 2k resolution), the screen’s slim form factor and rounded corners give it an unusual elegance. Skycom India invested a million USD – a total of 485 square meters of LED display, ranging from 1.5 to 3.9 pixels.
With the latest installations, Delhi joins the ranks of cities like London, Dubai, and Bangkok in offering cutting-edge DooH experiences.
