Op-Ed: Navori and Signagelive – Building A Global Digital Signage Software Powerhouse

In an industry long dominated by regional players and fragmented software ecosystems, the acquisition of Signagelive by merger of Navori Labs is a strong sign for consolidation. This is not just another M&A transaction - it’s a strategic alignment of scale, and an ambition to create a truly global, independent digital signage software leader.

The combination of Navori and Signagelive is intended to form the foundation for a new, independent global market leader. Unlike other software providers, the new Navori Labs Group is pure-play partner-only. With the third-largest active base of active licenses worldwide and development hubs across EMEA, the Middle East, and APAC, the group is poised to challenge the status quo in a market led by Stratacache, Samsung – with Magicinfo and VXT -, and Uniguest.

While integrators like Ricoh, Econocom, and Trison have scaled into hundred-million euro businesses, software providers have remained relatively small players – until now. Vertiseit, the Swedish SaaS contender, is making waves with over 300,000 active licenses. But Navori Labs Group enters the arena with three times that footprint, and a global infrastructure to match.

This transaction brings together two distinct but complementary forces:

  • Signagelive, known for its API-first architecture, agile development, and progressive leadership under Jason Cremins (CEO), Marc Benson (CTO), and Frank Larsen (CCO).
  • Navori, a quietly powerful force in the industry, founded by Jerome Moeri and now led by Jeff Weitzman, built over two decades into a highly profitable, globally recognized digital signage software leader.

Together, they aim to cross the million-license threshold expanding particularly in continental Europe and pursue further acquisitions to solidify their leadership.
