Beijing | As more providers enter the LED market, established manufacturers like Absen are enhancing their offerings beyond just hardware. It’s no surprise that Absen shows the most innovative concepts when it comes to green signage, warranty, and zero down payment options.
A month ago, Absen shared a new presentation with selected DooH networks at their headquarters in Shenzhen. Now, the same news have been presented to a wider audience at Infocomm China, the sister event of ISE. In a white paper, Absen outlined the key technical challenges faced by DooH network operators, including poor weather resistance and UV protection, high heat output and power consumption, and inadequate control of brightness decay.
Absen is testing its outdoor screens in a real-world setting on the rooftop showroom of its headquarters in southern China. Drawing on years of experience in LED technology, the company developed the A25 Outdoor series, which uses less than 1 kWh/m² per day. In Black-Screen mode, this results in up to 50% energy savings compared to traditional products.
For DooH network operators, Absen now offers a 10-year warranty and a no down payment policy. These features, along with financing options, are designed to lower operating costs and make it easier for new companies to enter the DooH market.
