For three consecutive days, the global digital signage industry will turn its attention to Munich this spring. From May 21 to 23, 2025, the Hilton Munich Airport Hotel will host the annual DSS Europe conference. But what is Digital Signage Summit Europe, who attends, and which topics will be discussed?
Since 2006, invidis has organized the Digital Signage Summit in Munich. For the past ten years, the event has taken place in a joint-venture with ISE. It gathers key players in the digital signage industry at a hotel near the Munich airport, including representatives from the display industry, software providers, integrators, DooH network operators, investors, and end customers.

A must for the digital signage industry
The two-day conference offers a diverse program with three tracks, over 80 speakers, and a wide range of lectures and panels. In 2025, it will also introduce a Developer Conference and side events, including evening gatherings, software workshops, and green signage sessions. Beyond the sessions, DSS Europe serves as a major discussion forum where industry leaders connect—competitors engage in rare conversations, stakeholders meet spontaneously in hotel corridors, and everyone networks at the annual evening event.
From Gothenburg directly to Munich
Less visible are the parallel discussions happening outside DSS Europe, often in other Munich hotels. This year, the summit runs from Wednesday, May 21, to Friday, May 23, allowing more time for meetings over the weekend. Because it partially overlaps with the Grassfish customer conference in Gothenburg, we have adjusted the program this year to let Grassfish attendees travel to Munich afterward without missing key sessions.

Over fifteen years, a certain atmosphere has developed at the Hilton Munich Airport that makes DSS Europe special and an ideal complement to ISE. And with so many things on offer, the conference now plays a key role in shaping industry strategy and attracts experts from around the world.
