Bangkok | Now more than ever, start-ups need the right platform to turn their ideas into profitable companies. A co-working space for start-ups is a perfect place for this, especially when it offers as much digital signage as the True Digital Park in the center of the Thai capital.
Start-up incubators are not rare, even a hip design is not unusual. But what Thai teleco True developed for hundreds of start-ups is absolutely worth a side inspection. True and LG presented the concept at last year’s invidis digital signage conference at Infocomm Asia. On stage it sounded like a better than life project that cannot hold all its promises.
A year later invidis went out and about and visited the incubator to get a first hand impression of the True Digital Park. And lo and behold – the space as fascinating as promised and even better. A rare under promised and overdelivered.
Since it’s launch in 2019 True Digital Park has grown to become South-East Asians largest startup and tech hub spanning over 230.000 m². The West Annex opened in 2022 hosting more than 1.400 start-ups, digital lobby, digital showrooms, a digital supermarket, a spacious Hyundai showroom and last but not least a LG Business Showroom.
Supersign for Super Showroom
A co-working space for tech and start-up enthusiasts which is more a lifestyle destination than a plain workspace. Entering the West Annex the project partners developed an immersive lobby LED experience.
A total of 50 LED and LCD touchpoints were integrated into the building wing, which opened in 2022 – for example as large, curved, ceiling and interactive floor screens. The digital signage content is managed done via LG Supersign CMS on Web OS.
