Stefan Sicken from German IT-Integrator IT Haus outlines why collaboration was one of the company’s priorities in 2023 and what role sustainability plays
The year 2023 was a time of further development for us at IT-Haus GmbH, especially in the area of digital signage solutions. As a committed partner in the field of IT and digital signage, we have focused on developing and designing effective solutions that meet the needs of an ever-changing working world.
One of the focal points in 2023 was the concept of collaboration. We believe that efficient collaboration within the company is the key to strong business results. That’s why we’ve helped our customers implement modern collaboration tools that allow them to work seamlessly with their teams, regardless of where they are located.
As an IT system integrator, we know our customers’ infrastructure very well and therefore also know what challenges can arise when creating a hybrid working environment. This allows us to position ourselves as a business partner early in the decision-making process and sustainably support our customers.
The importance of retail media is growing
We have also recognized that the digitalization of corporate communications is a crucial factor for the success of a company. Therefore, in 2023 we supported our customers in implementing digital signage solutions that enable them to communicate their messages effectively and attractively. It was important to us that the actual complexity for the end user was kept as low as possible through integrations of external systems and data sources.
In addition to the digital signage installations and rollouts in the DACH region – some with several hundred displays and CMS licenses – we were able to support the opening of retail stores in prominent places around the world. As a result, the topic of digital signage will grow even more in relation to retail media in 2023. The willingness of our customers to invest in professional displays between 86 inches, 110 inches and LED walls is also growing from month to month. We therefore clearly see the urgency of specifically training our in-house specialists here.
Sustainability offers added value
Another important aspect of our work in 2023 was the consideration of sustainability aspects. We believe that companies can and should play a role in shaping a more sustainable future. Therefore, we have supported our customers to implement sustainable solutions that are not only good for the environment but also provide added value to their end customers. Keywords such as sensors, e-ink or controlled shutdowns are definitely always an issue.
Despite the shortage of skilled workers that is affecting many industries, we have been able to continue to offer our customers first-class service thanks to our IT expertise and our broad network of specialists. The challenges of 2023 have also given us the opportunity to expand our consulting offering. We have worked closely with our customers to develop tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
Despite all the challenges, we can look back proudly on what we achieved in 2023. We look forward to continuing to offer our customers innovative solutions and helping them shape their digitalized future. By anticipating future trends and trying to stay one step ahead, we can ensure that we always offer our customers the best solutions. We are ready to face 2024 with optimism and determination. It’s time for businesses to put their best foot forward, and we look forward to being the digital signage partner to accompany them on this journey.
