According to media reports, the Japanese electronics group Panasonic is planning to give up its high-end projector business. The Japanese financial newspaper Nikkei was the first to report on the deal. Financial investors who value the business at half a billion dollars are most likely to acquire the business.

Media Report: Panasonic to Sell its Projector Business
According to Nikkei, Panasonic Connect plans to sell its professional projector business as early as June at an estimated sales price of around USD 510 million.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to expand Panasonic Connect’s supply chain systems business. Panasonic has been focusing on the supply chain software business since acquiring Blue Yonder for USD 7 billion in 2021.
Panasonic Connect is one of the world’s largest suppliers of ProAV projectors. As an Olympic sponsor, Panasonic has been the exclusive supplier of ProAV and digital signage hardware for years.
