After M&A: Zetadisplay sales grow by 30 percent

The pan-European digital signage integrator Zetadisplay increased sales by around 30 percent in the third quarter vs precious year mainly thanks to acquisitions. Recurring software and service sales increased by around 20 percent.

It remains an up and down for Zetadisplay. In a challenging market, however, the Swedes reported a high increase in sales in the third quarter just ended. Net sales rose by 28.9 percent year-on-year between July and September. It should be noted that Zetadisplay acquired integrators in the UK (Beyond Digital) and Austria (Peakmedia) in the past 12 months. Zetadisplay does not report details on organic growth.

For the first nine months of 2024, Zetadisplay recorded a 23 percent increase in sales to the equivalent of EUR 38.1 million. The European top 5 digital signage player was able to reduce losses in the third quarter, but is still not operating profitably again.

During the third quarter, Zetadisplay extend a major contract with a relevant key account client in Germany and started the rollout. At the German subsidiary – formerly Nordland – not only did Daniel Freimuth leave the company, but as part of a restructuring, it was decided to end peripheral activities that were not part of the core business. Service projects outside Europe are also being expanded, both in the USA and in the Middle East.

The outlook for the coming quarters is positive, as Zetadisplay’s sales pipeline of medium and long-term prospects has grown significantly. The group-wide sales transformation project is nearing completion, which has resulted in a rapidly growing sales funnel in all countries. In particular, according to Zetadisplay, orders signed by new customers have more than doubled since the beginning of the year.
