As we look forward to 2024, we remain excited about the potential and opportunities within the digital signage industry. While the past year had its challenges, it is evident the industry is resilient, adaptable, and positioned for increased digital adoption. Although the economic outlook may be uncertain for 2024, there are positive underlying growth trends.
First, digitalization of signage and information persists. Displays are projected to grow as digital continues to replace static signage and new and expanded use cases are deployed.
Second, there is a growing demand for immersive, personalized, and interactive experiences. Digital signage consumers continue to increase expectations for content to drive engagement and effectiveness. This creates incremental growth opportunities within existing deployments and more sophisticated requirements for new ones.
Third, as with many industries, AI and data will provide further opportunities to add new capabilities, improve the experience, and simplify system development and management.
